Description

About

This is a basic and easy to print planter for farming tomato plants. I needed 12 of them in three different colours so I quickly designed this for our tomatoes.

The planter has holes in the bottom and the plate has standoffs so the plant doesn't get too much water. Once your plants have grown a bit and need more space, move over the plants to a larger container.

The planters were printed using my Qidi X-Max and using my Hercules mod (BMG, Dragon Standard Flow, T-V6 Plated Copper Nozzle 0.8 mm). See my other designs.

Notes:

The planter was designed to be used with a 0.8 mm nozzle in vase mode but you can print it with a 0.40 mm nozzle and two walls too but it will take longer.

Using a 0.80 mm nozzle and 0.60 mm layer height the printing time is around 35 minutes.
