Space hammock

This bed is designed based off the concept of a hammock and is essentially a human cocoon. Living up in space is a very demanding and straining job. Sleep is essential to staying alert and prepared for any situation. However, space shuttles are very noisy machines that never stops running; getting a good nights rest becomes a struggle. This bed is designed with acoustic quilts to try and block out the majority of sound and take up as little space as possible. This cocoon concept; with a zipper to enter, will also block out light. Ultimately, this design will provide astronauts with a better solution to sleeping and staying healthy.
