The subject depicted in this sculpture can easily be defined by the strong and beautiful facial structure and style of hair integral to The Greek goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite. From what larger sculpture this bust originates is unclear but chances are it is modern adaption of the Capitoline Venus at The Louvre or The Nude Venus at The British Museum, London.
