I like paragliding, and always wanted a selfie while I fly shows the surrounding too, I found on YouTube some paragliders have a home made chase cam contraptions that they fit the camera on, so I decided to design one.
my design is completely printable all it needs is the GoPro screw and nut, and a gopro camera obviously, it consists of two parts top and bottom, that fit tightly together, it flys when fitted to the trailing edge of the glider with wind stream and follows the pilot.
the size I made was limited to my printer size, a hole in top of the camera to attach the line the connects to the glider, and keeps center of gravity forward to balance the GoPro, and it goes straight with wind stream,I had to beefed up the stick to the fins since it's an extreme sport, you need it, and the nut holder too.
the only thing due to the print limitation, I had to fit the GoPro upside down, not a big deal since you can set it up for inverted recording.
some printers will need support material for the top part, mine handled its overhang very well, I used I fill of 30% to make it little stronger, v1 suffered wrapping due to the fact it's a long surface print on the bed, in both parts, so please make sure your level it accurate, other wise both parts won't fit together, since it's a snug fit, to make sure it doesn't detach from each other. If you resize the object to achieve longer stick, it mess up the GoPro holes and nut fitting
