Zelda's Bow

This is Zelda's bow from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Super Smash Bros. The model incorporates RGB LEDs and Arduino for lighting effects and magnets for connecting pieces. I created this for cosplay and it turned out quite well. The most difficult part of this build is all of the LEDs. An upgraded version of this bow might include a custom etched PCB so that all of the wiring is not required.
Everything on this bow is built to be removable with the exception of the handle connecting the left half parts of the bow permanently. Everything else is attached with neodymium magnets so that the electronics can be accessed and adjusted or fixed.

Print at 0.2 mm layer height, with 10% infill. This uses 578 g of filament and takes 3300 minutes.

I made this at about 60% scale for my 7 yr old daughter. I scaled down the bow pieces but had to enlarge the handle to hold the battery. It turned out great and she loved it. I used a cheap amazon LED strip and an 18650 phone charger to power/recharge it. Here's a video of it in action. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrnpC9hi2hc
