Description

This design of the Wind Waker Baton is hollow to add a circuit that plays the wind songs every time the tip of the baton faces upwards. The Adafruit Audio FX Mini Sound Board is used to add the sound effect. A detailed instruction for this project can be found in the Assembly Guide.pdf

Electronic Parts

Tools and Supplies

  • solid core wire
  • heat shrink tubing and insulation tape
  • soldering iron and solder
  • micro USB cable
  • Wind Waker songs sound les
  • hot glue and hot glue gun
  • superglue or any other strong glue/epoxy you like
  • 4 round magnets (3mm X 3mm X 6mm) (neodymium magnets with a grade N42 should be more than strong enough)
  •  sandpaper and/or files
  • 3D printed Wind Waker parts

Print Settings

  • All long parts are designed to fit diagonally inside a 150mmX150mm print bed 
  • Use 80%-100% infill for enough strength 
  • Support is needed for all parts except the staff halves 
  • Print slow and with small layer height (0.1mm) to achieve good detail and surface finish, especially if you do not want to post process the parts
