Summary Makes taking anaglyphs really easy and using a stepper motor to drive the caddy means loads of control. Specifically designed for the Manfrotto quick release plate tripods and the Nikon D800 camera, but any similar or smaller camera will work as well. Bigger cameras may work, your milage may vary. How you control the camera and stepper motor are completely down to you. Similarly, if your camera falls off, that's also you :) NOTE The mount arms allow for about a 12cm maximum parallax when using the handle... that's more than humans, but if you're taking shots outside and viewing the final image from a bit further back it works well. You can always manually limit the travel. Just Added manfrotto 200pl extender.stl: for raising your pointy shooty or smaller camera up about 20mm to allow lenses to clear the rails. Instructions For printing I'd recommend using as much density as your plastic/time budget will allow 60% plus. For the mount plate I'd go to 100% purely because this attaches to the tripod and bears all the weight. If you have a couple grands worth of camera balanced on this thing you're going to want it strong. Designed to print at 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle. Also, all the parts friction fit for me, your milage may vary, but again, think of the camera... heavy duty glue will ease your peace of mind. All of the parts print without support and where required, support is built in and snaps right off. I'd recommend printing the drive bar in the stepper section with a raft, the teeth need to be clean in profile - that's a real mission without the raft. Stepper Control Rig You will need the following materials:

1x mount plate print (remove the support for the motor, the lugs on the side are for you to secure the motor with something elastically) 4x mount arm stepper prints 1x caddy plate print - the manual one has a handle, but works just as well 1x drive bar print 4x caddy arm prints optionally 4x caddy arm pin prints if you're wanting to glue the bearings in place 4x bearings id: 10mm, od:30mm, w: 9mm (6200/2RS ) 2x Makerbeam lengths of 300mm (Technobots) 1x Stepper motor 42x42x33mm dimensions (Proto-pic) 1x 3mm HTD pulley with 24 teeth (may need a bore reducer) (Motionco)

Assembly should e self explanatory, the tricky bit will be lining up the stepper and the drive bar. The bar is designed to fit as far forward as possible, see the screenshot in the gallery.
