Description

SummaryThis is a modification of the original Lulzbot Arm, to create a removable arm that slides into a bracket (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:756064) on the right side of the frame. This clears out the right side opening on the frame to allow for easy insertion of the panel for an enclosure (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:756211). This mod simply cuts off the hinge portion of the stock arm, and tapers the end. As a side benefit the modified arm will print on the bed of the Lulzbot Mini, so you can use your printer to print your new arm. If anyone is interested in the laser cut part for a complete enclosure, I've put together a complete kit of the panels and assorted hardware to enclose the sides of your Lulzbot Mini printer. see: http://drazzticaction.com/products-page-2/3dprinters/lulzbot-acrylic-enclosure/ Or check it out on Amazon at: Lulzbot Mini 3D Printer Enclosure by TabSynth Link: http://amzn.com/B00VOE4SFO Modified Arm to shorten it a few millimeters to fit on the Lulzbot Mini bed when using CURA and the outline feature.
