I still have to test this to make sure the cut's don't interfere with the mechanism, but I was pretty careful it should be ok.
The reason for the non-uniform cut was the candy hopper. It is offset and a cut down the middle would have cut the slide in half, so I cut to the side so the hopper prints out in one piece and no split in it.
I really wanted to print this for my Daughters birthday, but there was absolutely no way I was going to print for 62 hours straight to get the main body out, let alone the rest and then assembly.
I prefer to print 9am-5pm, keeps the wife happy :)
