Celestron f6.3 gearbox adapter / ZWO ASI cameras with filter holder

This adapter is compatible with different types of gearboxes, the Celestron manufacture

with 105 mm backfocus or the old Japanese ones with 86 mm backfocus

as well as Meade or Antares also with a bf of 86mm.it is suitable for ASI cameras of bf

12.5 or 17.5 mm.

Choose the body size you need according to the type of reducer ( BF 105 or 86 mm)

and the Bf of your camera.

4 types of body: BF 105 / 12.5

               BF 105 / 17.5


               BF 86 / 12.5


               BF 86 / 17.5

Also choose the housing it fits ( with the right markings).

All parts are printed with 4 perimeters and 30% filling.

For threading , a layer height of 0.12 mm max is required.

For mounting:

Screw your reducer onto the telescope as well as the adapter body.

Then, present the filter chamber by positioning it as you wish ( opening for

insertion of the filter). Make a mark (with tape for example) and stick the chamber on the

body by aligning the marks.

Glue the housing in place by spreading it slightly ( there are 4 studs of

positioning). Be careful not to put, neither too much glue, nor too close to the edges for

avoid overflows.

Screw your camera on the T2 plate and before gluing it on the chamber to be able to

position the usb port of the camera in the desired position.

Insert the filter holder into the chamber and apply glue to the two slots provided

for cap positioning as well, and on a thin line between these two slots.

Glue the cap on.

The filter chamber, filter holder and its cap are common to all

configurations.

Use 2-component epoxy glue in a thin layer.
