3D model description

What's up people! I designed this enclosure as part of a series to integrate the ESKDiy offroad electric skateboard kit into a fully functioning electric skateboard.

In this build I got a 10s5p of 18650 batteries, and as part of the kit, a hobbywing esc. Check out the video later down in this post where I talk about designing the enclosures. While you're at it, go ahead and watch the whole series at my Youtube channel, RB E-Motion.

There are three files attached to this project, the front enclosure, the modular battery enclosures, and the rear ESC enclosure. All modular pieces have balance wire channels designed in and are crafted to fit onto the curvature of the sector nine deck that I used. It should be pretty easy to adapt this whole setup to accommodate 12s by adding two more middle enclosure segments. I purposefully designed this to be the perfect amount of height to have padding on top and bottom of the cells, and press into the deck to avoid vibrations.

So far, this enclosure has worked super well and I love how it turned out. For the rear enclosure, it's a bit thicker to fit in the esc, small bms, charge port, and power switch. The charge port I used was a GX-16-2 connector, and I used a tiny 10s Daly BMS.

Anyways, if you find this, I hope you enjoy using it. Feel free to hit me up for any questions on my Youtube channel, at forum.esk8.news by messaging ShutterShock, or at my Youtube email, rbe.motion.info@gmail.com
