(big V23 and N23 update!)

this file got all the new parts

the pictures and documentation are still old. also the text below needs to be checkedā€¦

but at the very least new users can print out the N23 series of files

I will explain very soon what the differences will be and why some of the old users may want to switch over to the N23, or just choose to update some parts and leave other things as they are.

new front mounts have been added that should help with the reloads.

NW64 mag mound have been added.

gab in mid plate is removed. and narrow version have been added.

this mount can be used with or with out the bullpup kit. and makes it possible to use the UNW P90 mags that can hold 28 rounds with your paintball marker. but there are also other options out there. like the G11TIPX mag and Hi-cap mag (hopper adapter).

as you can see on the pictures are there a view options when it comes down to the front morning part. this is so you can have custom look. but at the same time also to make this mag mount more flexible for the current mags and future designs.

but the original P90 design does help in guiding the mags into place. so in case you donā€™t like the tall look to the original the low wigged is a good middle ground

I do say that the grub screw needs to be at 2mm in hight. that functions to activate the magazines. but itā€™s possible that is need a slight adjustment. this will be covered in the UNW P90 PDF. I do like the idea of having a smooth top on the grub screw so that is why I like it to be installed the what itā€™s shown with the hex key mount hole at the bottom of your Mag mount.

why the ā€œstipplingā€ with a soldering iron of the insides of the rail mounted parts. well at first I was trying to go for a ā€œgood fitā€ but this was a hard thing to get right. since printing orientations seemed to have a effect on this as well. when tolerances were getting to tight. and making these small lines is easy to do and make it so that you can remove some unwanted play in the parts in case you have some issues with itā€¦

the slide. you want the slide to move smoothly and not get stuck when itā€™s fully compressed. this can be because of support remains or elephant food. but you can also play around with the spring tension if you like I used to use 2 springs with a 0.5mm wide instead of the now recommended 0.6mm wire. since I noticed that adding 1 extra spring with some stiff wire was actually a lot better. so you may want to play around with it so the slide is sliding al the way forward every time when the mag is placed in the mount.

compatibility note:
this mag mount will work only on the Planet Eclipse ETHA 1 with EMC rail KIT.

materials needed:
2x spring 6mm OD, 0.6mm wire, 20mm long
Note: you can add one more if you like it to give the slide more power

2x M2.5 Bolt 16mm long

1x M5 grub screw
Note: this needs to stick 2mm up from the mount, use some callipers for this.

2x M5 bolt 25mm long

1x M5 bolt 35mm long

2x M3 bolt 15mm long

3D printing settings

print settings:
0.2 layer hight should be fine.
you can use the 8 layer walls and a 40% infill.
but personally I moved a bit over to solid prints just to give it more strength in case things go wrong on the fieldā€¦

Print-bed requirement: the files are designed to work on a ENDER 3 Pro, that haves a print volume of, X 220mm, Y 220mm and Z 250mm. with that said itā€™s not necessarily maxing out to those sizesā€¦
