This is a Core XY printer that makes use of open builds V-Slot rails.

I designed this myself with a couple goals in mind:

-not to use any linear rod/bearings; I used V-slot for all guided motion

-no crossing belts as found in most core XY printers; I used two offset parallel belt runs

-run the belts through the extrusion when possible for a cleaner end product

-make the entire setup easily modifiable and adaptable so others can use it for alternate bed sizes

(I am using an 8x12, but changing to an 8x8, 10x10, or 12 "x12" is as easy as cutting your extrusion to different lengths, no part redesign required)

-a lesser goal was to minimize the amount of unique 3D printed parts required, but since I already have a functioning home built OB1.4, this goal fell by the wayside. None the less, you can see printed parts like corners and tees that can be replaced with items from the open builds parts store.
