The Fidget Bolt was originally designed by me as a unique creation for the purpose of selling at a Local Craft Show. Upon showcasing it to my friends and family, they were impressed and encouraged me to make the file available to others. This charming toy has broad appeal, appealing to all ages and personalities, and it's particularly popular among neurodivergent individuals who can play with it for hours on end.

The Fidget Bolt features an Embedded Loop that can be utilized for attaching a Keychain or Paracord/Rope. It prints in three pieces requires glue to assemble, prints with no supports!

Sep 20, 2022 - Original Version Released

May 23, 2023 - Fidget Bolt Capsule Version! (capsule hole is 19mm x 85mm) Print at 85% to fit American and Canadian Bills inside.

May 28, 2023 - Fidget Bolt Capsule Version with Loose Threads added. (capsule hole is 19mm x 85mm)

August 12, 2023 - V.2 of Fidget Bolt Capsule Versions added with stronger threads (capsule hole is now 17mm x 95mm)

Notes:

The Original Fidget Bolt has been test printed at 60%, 75%, 100% and 200% (See Group Photo). The tolerances (0.6mm) between 75-200% make this operate fine. However if it is not spinning, I suggest twisting it manually until it has sanded itself down. You can also add some Skateboard Bearing Oil or other lubricants to the tread. (Tip try water too!)

If you print the Capsule file at 85% size, you can roll up some American and Canadian bills to fit inside!

V.1 of The capsule has been test printed down to 70% but please note it may not work for some printers below 80%.

V.2 of the bolt bottoms capsule threads are now stronger! It has been test printed down to 60% successfully!
