3D model description

This is an All-Weather Shell to enclose a Eufy 2C or 2C Pro security camera.

The Eufy security camera is an excellent piece of equipment. However, it does suffer from a number of shortcomings. This project is intended to address these issues.

  • improve fixed mounting options
  • include professional PTZ-style swivel mounting
  • improve visual deterrence via optional high vis markings
  • enhance USB port protection when in use
  • improve weather resistance for heavily weathered locations

A dummy camera face has also been included so as to visually emulate an actual camera. This allows a highly visible security camera to be sited in lighter trafficked areas without resorting to the expense of deploying an actual camera.

A 2 axis Pan/Tilt bracket is included as is a choice of swivel base: compact or full (not shown).

Screws used were low profile M5*6 for the Shell & low profile M5*15 for the Pan/Tilt bracket. Dome or hex head should also be compatible.

Use a blob of epoxy to emulate the lens on the dummy camera fascia.

Note: Some photos show gimballed mountings. These are supplied with the Eufy camera kit and are not a part of this project. They are displayed here purely for explanatory purposes.
