3D model description

I didn't like the standard way of mounting my APM 2.5 in Bixlers so I decided to cut the foam out from the top of the fuse and put my autopilot there. It's a very nice position for getting access to it more easily and it's still right on the CG. This is a simple cover I designed to maintain the same airflow while allowing the APM to be placed there.

The cover fits fairly well and should be held on with blemderm or similar tape. It's 110mm long so only cut 100mm of foam out from the fuse. This design is directional and follows the fuselage shape to within .5mm.

3D printing settings

Print standing up with no supports and 100% fill at 1 shell. I used semi-clear for effect but any color would do. Make sure you have a very well leveled and clean surface because there is minimal contact area to the build plate printing in that orientation.
