3D model description

DPS 750w or 1200W power supply front cover, incorporating a hole for a 5mm led and a hole for the integration of a switch.

Power supply used for a 12V modelling charger.

I redid a power supply 62 amps from HP server power supply. Light and powerful these power supplies are well suited for RC activity.

The power supply arriving naked, ( no boot bridge, no power cable), I undertook some modifications to adapt it to my RC needs.

I wanted to be able to add an inter, a control led on the front, and screw-in sockets easier to mount than simple 4mm soldered tubes.

You can find on the net different tutorials or videos of hack to make a power supply of this type.

  • HP 750W power supply ( easily found on the bon coin or resellers like aliexpress or Bangood, scrutinized the promos to have a good price).

  • A switch,

  • A 12V led

  • A custom designed front panel

  • 6 sockets 4 mm to screw. bought at lextronic

the power supply plate has been drilled and the sockets soldered in the lower and upper part

  • a 3D black carbon covering

I filled the led hole with hot glue, to reduce the brightness of the led.

Only the lettering remains to be installed.

Once assembled, we get a nice power supply that takes little space in the field box.
