3D model description

Print each side. Can be printed fdm or resin.

To create a Jersey barrier all you need is some cement.

  1. Use some sort of mould release* inside the prints.
  2. Wrap elastic band around moulds to hold together.
  3. Mix up some concrete .
  4. Pour into mould, slightly overfill and tap all over the mould to remove air bubbles.
  5. slowly scrape the cement in a sawing motion to smooth out the bottom (don't stress this too much it can be sanded completely flat.
  6. Leave to cure for 24 hours minimum.
  7. slowly move the 2 mould away from the part. FDM may be slightly more difficult to remove due to the deeper grooves.
  8. Wax up and skate!

Extra steps: (Not a necessity but will make it look/hold together better)
9. Give 2 coats of clear lacquer and leave to set.
Alternately you can paint it with a coat of watered down PVA.

*you can use thinned down Vaseline as mould release. (Thin down with ipa)
or brush on/rub on Vaseline.
Or you can purchase mould release in a spray can.
