3D printer file info

3D model description

This is a 3D printable file for a hilt that screws directly into your Cal Kestis Legacy Saber to make it appear to be a double sided lightsaber like the one in Fallen Order. Please note that this is a 3D file and not a physical product. The files will become available to you as soon as payment is complete. This model allows you to use your original battery pack and keeps the factory functionality of your saber in tact while adding the appearance of a double sided saber. The printable side of the double sided light saber is not designed to contain electronics without modifications.

All parts were tested on a printer. The quality of your print depends on your preferred slicer software, printer, and settings. I can not guarantee the quality of your finished print. If printed to the original scale that the file is saved, the treads are measured to screw directly into the threads on your Legacy Hilt.

I have done my best to minimize the need for supports, but they are needed on some parts. Parts are saved as zip files per the websites needs. Once downloaded, save to your computer and open the files. The files should convert to stl. Slicing, supports, and rotating parts for best results recommended. To finish, sanding and painting will be required to achieve a metal like finish to match the adjoining Legacy Hilt.

This print is to be used by the purchaser only and is not to be sold or distributed without proper permissions.
This is to be considered fan art.

3D printing settings

I printed these on my Creality Ender 3 and I used Creality slicer. Supports were used on the main parts. I set my printer to 200 degrees nozzle and 64 degrees bed. On the handle portion, print with the thread side touching the print bed. Use supports but for the threaded portion only (click the setting to only have supports when they can touch the build plate). The other prints you may use supports as you feel needed.
