SHENMUE - RYO HAZUKI - TOY CAPSULE

ENGLISH: Ryo Hazuki (born November 29, 1968) is the main protagonist of the Shenmue series.

He is an 18-year-old Japanese boy living in Yamanose, Yokosuka, Japan. His mother died of an illness when he was 3 years old. Ryo was trained in martial arts by his father, Iwao Hazuki, since he was 7 years old. After his father was killed by Lan Di and his father left by stealing the dragon mirror, Ryo gains a desire for revenge that will lead him on a quest to learn and mature.

Shenmue (莎木 or シェンムー) is a video game for Dreamcast that was released in 1999 in Japan and 2000 in the United States by SEGA and its AM#2 group, led by Yu Suzuki. It came in 4 GD-ROMs and incorporated a rather innovative gameplay system called FREE (Full Reactive Eyes Entertainment) that allowed the player to easily interact with a game environment very similar to real life. The player could maintain a real life through the character in a series of locations taken from real places in Yokosuka (Japan), and experience personal relationships, weather climate changes, etc., while following the game's storyline.

His mother died of an illness when he was three years old. Ryo has been taught martial arts by his father, Iwao Hazuki, since he was seven.

After his father was killed by Lan Di and the Dragon Mirror was stolen, Ryo swears vengeance for his father and goes on a journey throughout his hometown and China.

Shenmue is a 1999 action-adventure game developed and published by Sega for the Dreamcast. It follows the teenage martial artist Ryo Hazuki as he sets out in revenge for the murder of his father in 1980s Yokosuka, Japan. The player explores an open world, fighting opponents in brawler battles and encountering quick time events. The environmental detail was considered unprecedented, with numerous interactive objects, a day-and-night system, variable weather effects, non-player characters with daily schedules, and various minigames.
