3D model description

What is it

This is a Fusion 360 modelled interpretation and adaptation of the Google Pixel stand. It was modelled primarily to fit the size of a Google Pixel 3 but considering the model files are available I presume you should be able to do modifications to your liking.

I used Amazon sourced Qi chargers + PCBA's. These come in very different sizes and price ranges, and because it's Amazon, it's a bit difficult to link to one of them and assume it will work for all time. However, the size of a Qi charger element is generally constrained within a 50mm diameter. The PCBA itself can be quite different in shape and size, so you will have to look it up and adjust the charger pad cut out accordingly.

There's a cut out at the chin of the base to allow for a USB-adapter (I personally have a USB-C magnetic connector) to fit without interfering with the tilt/stability of the phone.

What will you get

This thing contains

  • Fusion 360 archive files
  • STEP files
  • STL files

I've printed several versions of this stand and all but a few have come out in useful shapes directly from the build plate, with very little post print work, mostly to do with removing small areas of support.
