3D model description

This is a Series II version of the MS Boat I previously published. You can find that here:

http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3704554

The second production series of the Italian MS Boat saw a heavier armament in the shape of two extra torpedoes carried at the rear, bringing the total to four (two 450mm torpedoes and two 533mm torpedoes). Additionally, the native Breda 20mm cannon at the rear was often replaced by an imported German quad 20mm flak mount.

This naturally came at the cost of extra weight, which, with the engines being unchanged, dropped the top speed from 32.5 knots to around 31 knots.

Two of this series of MS Boat were modified for special operations. They were designed to carry two SLC Human Torpedoes or a single small boat such as an explosive boat or a small speedboat. I have included files for these.

There are quite a few files in this collection, which is why I decided to make it separate from my Series I boat. Hopefully the naming system I have makes it easy enough to follow.

The files included are:

MS Boat Second Series Armed - the standard second series boat, with quad 20s on the back and a single 20 on the bow.

MS Boat Second Series No Torps Unarmed - as above, but with the guns and rear torpedoes removed for separate printing.

MS Boat Second Series Torps Unarmed - as above, but with the rear torpedoes still on the model.

MS Boat Second Series (Carrier Version) SLCs Armed - the carrier version of the second series boat, carrying two SLC Human Torpedoes and armed with a single 20mm forward and quad 20mms at the rear.

MS Boat Second Series (Carrier Version) SLCs Unarmed - as above, but with the guns removed for separate printing.

MS Boat Second Series (Carrier Version) Empty Armed - the carrier version, but carrying nothing (add your own thing, or maybe it is coming back after a raid).

MS Boat Second Series (Carrier Version) Empty Unarmed - as above, with guns removed for separate printing.

Breda Model 35 on Mount (No Gun Shield) - the single 20mm cannon mount.

Breda Model 35 on Mount (No Gun Shield) without loop - as above, but with the small loop above the gun removed (in case your printer doesn't like it).

20mm Flak Gun on Quad Mount No Gun Shield - the quad mount that was fitted to the rear of many (most?) of this series.
