3D model description

2 Piece Cheshire collimation tool used for aligning the mirrors in a Newtonian design telescope. (Dobsonians are also Newtonian)

Collimating your telescope mirrors ensure you always have the best focus and views.

The crosshair feature can be removed, and used as a standalone collimating focuser cap. This is useful when aligning the secondary mirror.

Youtube provides many tutorials on how to use a Cheshire collimator to tune your telescope.

3D printing settings

Any solid material. PLA, PETG, ABS, Etc.
Be sure to print body file upside down (Should be the STL default).
This will ensure that you don't need supports, and get flat and accurate ridges for the pieces to fit flush together, and against your focuser tube.

I get best results with a .3mm layer height and width
