3D model description

Organizers for K2 board game (second edition) with expansion Broad Peak. All organizers fit the base game box very well and provide quick game setup. Containers have sliding lids to prevent components from falling out during the storage.

The set contains: Player organizer, Risk organizer, Weather holder and Traverse organizer.

  1. PLAYER ORGANIZER: It consists of 2 pieces: a container and a lid. The container has 3 sections dedicated for: cards (without sleeves), wooden markers and traverse tokens. Card's section has an indentation to facilitate card draw. Markers' section has rounded bottom to facilitate taking components out. Traverse section has sloped bottom and indentation to facilitate token draw. The lid can be easily inserted into the container guides. An indentation in the container facilitate sliding the lid out. There are low walls on the lid. They provide a frame for player board. It can be inserted tightly, so it doesn't fall out. Still there is an indentation if you want to remove the board. Next to the player board you can keep tents/tent during the play. Also if you keep your card deck in the container during the play, it is easier to distinguish which cards are available and which are discarded.
  2. RISK ORGANIZER: This container has 2 sections: one for risk tokens, the other for snow cave markers. I also keep there the weather marker. Each section has rounded bottom to facilitate token draw. The sliding cover prevents item from falling out during the storage. There is also a section for starting player marker. It fits very well, so it stays in place during the storage, but it's easy to take it out before the play.
  3. WEATHER HOLDER: It has 2 sections for 2 piles of weather tiles. During the storage, summer tiles stay in one section and winter tiles stay in the other. It can be used also during the play for the weather display. Indentations in the holder facilitate tile draw.
  4. TRAVERSE ORGANIZER: It consists of several pieces: Traverse container. traverse lid, Peak I holder, Peak II holder and Peak III holder. Peak holders are thoroughly designed to accommodate victory point tokens. They can be used during the play with a proper amount of tokens related to the number of players. They can be comfortably picked up thanks to handles on both sides. During the storage, Peak holders are kept in the Traverse container. Peak III as the tallest stays in its own section. Peak II and Peak I are kept together in the other section: Peak II on the bottom and Peak I on the top.

All organizers fit the base game box very well. They provide quick game setup and comfort during the play.

The base game box is short and doesn't give much space around, when 2 game boards are inside (K2 and Broad Peak). Thus organizers are rather short and narrow. Cards in sleeves won't fit the Player's organizer.

3D printing settings

All organizers were 3Dprinted on Prusa MK3:
- in PLA (F3D Pearl),
- No support is needed,
- Infill 10% rectilinear.
I use slightly changed default Print settings "0.15mm SPEED MK3" in PrusaSlicer.
Note1: 0.15mm layer height assure that sliding lid works well.
Note2: I used 0.2mm layer height for Peak holders to speed up the print.
