3D model description

I present a complete, functional, driving 3D model of a small TAM truck, which, unfortunately, is no longer produced.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TAM_110_T7_B/BV

I designed the model based on materials found on the Internet, and on the basis of my own measurements and inventory.
working as a designer, I have access to tools that have helped me a lot.

the model has 3D printed parts and steel parts that can be replaced with plastic or aluminum.
my truck is powered by a brushed motor, combined with a universal gearbox from Axial / injora
I relied on them because they are easily available on Aliexpress
Drive axles are connected to the frame with leaf springs from Aliexpress.
the more responsible part - the drive shaft - comes from Traxxas and its number is given in the BOM

the ends of the rods are also from Traxxas.

I built the model because it is one of the smallest trucks, not counting the Unimog, whose models are not available and its construction by modellers is neglected.

By sharing this model, I hope there will be more driving units.

I based the model's lighting module on the arduino - the most common platform among modelers.
The control program and cabling system are not the subject of this study.

short description of the model:
I divided the model into groups: chassis, cabin and crate,
under the lift cabin, there is an electronics box with an RC receiver module.

crate (back part) - according to the drawing, you can read the dimensions of the elements, they can be made of HIPS boards, or printed in full by putting the elements together on the printer.
I have a small working area (200x200), so I divided the parts so that they could be placed on the printer table.

the crate is screwed to the frame with 4 bolts and can be quickly removed.

cabin - attached to the frame at the front with two bolts, and on the float there are 2 hooks that keep it in place.
the windshield can be hinged, use 3 small hinges which are not listed in the BOM.
I made the roof of the cab from a material to reflect the realism of the truck, but it can be made of thin HIPS plates or plaque.
the door opens and can be secured with small magnets inside the cabin.

chassis - I used field-proven components in my other models, engine, transmission, axles, drive shafts.
these elements last a lot.
you can also try to reduce the drive rack (on the engine) to increase the DragBrake, but those that are given in my opinion are sufficient.

the model is not fast, but it has power.

the tires used, visible in the photos - GMADE - are very aggressive and hold tight, but I do not recommend them for sand.

The entire model is powered by a 3S Gens Bashing battery, and it fits under the floor cover, which can be attached with Velcro or magnets as desired.

I also enclose the original 1: 1 car manual to the package to see how simple the car was.

if you find any shortcomings, or you have proposals for development - let me know in a private message - we'll see what we can do.

In attached files, you can find complete BOM, with listed parts which was used by me.

to this project files available :
PDF.zip - all parts made from steel / aluminium plates, Assembly drawings
STL_final.zip - all printed files with hi-res edges.
XLS_files.zip - BOM lists.

3D printing settings

according to your own possibilities
I was printing in 0.2-0.3 layers
material - PET.
