3D model description

I read a blog about Handmade Work from "Regula" in Switzerland.

https://babajeza.wordpress.com/2013/03/27/dyi-strickliesel-dyi-knitting-nancy/

He made out of a Paper-Tube with Wood-Sticks (Schaschlickspiese/Pop-Sticks).

her own knitting dolly. First i checkout to do it the same way on my own ......

Comeback of Version 0.01 with the Head + Pins from 0.31 as "b" and

two custom-build version "c" with Pin.Numbers and Text on the outside.

Found out at testprint there is a little bit "print in the air" when print the

torus inside sorry - I will fix it soon as possible.

Hint : You MUST NOT use all Pins , sometimes flip over one Pin or more.

You can use this Thing in both directions clockwise and Anti-clockwise.

You can use different color at the same time or on different Pins (difficult).

You can change the direction go from Pin1 to Pin7 and back make your

knitting Flat (Knitting Machine for the poor)

I start with the 7-pin head from the source but i'm not happy with it

and must change the design.

Give the Pin an Angle of 10Β° and make a mushroom Head.

Changed the holes in the handle and the base with a torus.

The fourth is pretty good but need minimal workout.

Things go better at the fifth version with greater torus under the pins

I rearange the Pins at a (invisible ring in the torus - X-Ray added)

and melt it together.

The idea is a better hold for the (small) hand.

It is nice and for children OK but for my "little" hand it's to small.

  (I hold it with 4 fingers ....)

I dedicated it first for the next Holiday Workshop (vacation summer) in August.

Making some (green) wool snakes. (Pictures of prototype added)

Greater and longer version (Adult)

go back to invisible torus at the outside --> Checkout V 0.31

To do :

Split the design in Children or Small-Hand -->

and in Adult - Medium

more but smaller holes (like V 0.10) make the handle rough (ribs/knurls)

a mix from V 0.20 and V 0.30

OK if you made it, you may ask me what to do with the Knitting Tube ?

Instruction with picture https://www.talu.de/stricken-mit-der-strickliesel/

https://www.prym.com/de/inspiration/diy-projekte-anleitungen/usb-kabel-umstrickt-mit-der-strickliesel

Because PRYM say "... you don't need much pins (4 is enough) ...."

I add the "Strickliesel-4-Cable_V-0.32.stl" with greater middlehole and just 4 pin.

(I changed only the name of the file because of 4-Pin and give a continuous number)

To Do : version with rectangular/eliptic mittlehole for Sub-D9-Pin or HDMI in this way
