The FIFA Club World Cup (FIFA Club World Cup), known simply as the Club World Cup or colloquially as the Mundialito de Clubes3456, is the international club competition organized by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), which annually defines the world champion club.789

Created with the vocation of giving the competition a global projection that would reach all confederations, it is contested annually by the continental champion clubs of the six confederations -Asia, Africa, North and Central America, South America, Europe and Oceania-, in addition to the league champion of the host country. The Club World Cup was held for the first time in 2000, but has been held annually since 2005, when it replaced its predecessor, the Intercontinental Cup (1960-2004),10 a competition contested annually between the continental champion of Europe and the champion of South America.11712 Most Club World Cup finals have been played between European and South American clubs, with the exception of 2000, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2018 and 2020.

Chelsea FC is the reigning champion. Real Madrid is the club with the most titles in the competition (4), leading in turn the history of official world champion titles (7),13141516as well as being the first team to win three editions in a row.17 Toni Kroos is the player with the most titles in this tournament with 5.

The first FIFA Club World Championship took place in Brazil in 2000. It ran in parallel with the Intercontinental Cup, a competition played by the winners of the Champions League and the Copa Libertadores, from 2000 to 2004, with the champions of each tournament both recognized (in 2017) by FIFA as club world champions. In 2005, the Intercontinental Cup was merged with the FIFA Club World Championship, and in 2006, the tournament was renamed as the FIFA Club World Cup. The winner of the Club World Cup receives the FIFA Club World Cup trophy and a FIFA World Champions certificate.

Real Madrid holds the record for most titles, having won the competition on four occasions. Corinthians' inaugural victory remains the best result from a host nation's national league champions. Teams from Spain have won the tournament seven times, the most for any nation. The current world champions are Chelsea, who defeated Palmeiras 2-1 after extra time in the 2021 FIFA Club World Cup Final.
