3D model description

This mod compliments the Z Braces and gives the printer an additional 37mm of clearance on the X Crossbeam.

The manufacturer rated the Z axis to be 180mm but the poor clearance to cables and the extruder meant that only around 143mm was usable. Pushing past this height was not without the risk of failed prints (skipped steps), mechanical damage, electrical short circuit, and the chance of fire.

Optional part to hang the scraper that comes with these printers, it can be printed for left or right sides, or it can be printed for both sides or none.

Print one each of a left and right part (1xL & 1xR), two parts only.

Things to buy:
8x M3 x 10mm screws
4x M3 Nyloc nuts

Filament feeder for Wanhao Duplicator i3, Cocoon Create, and Maker Select

PLEASE NOTE
This mod does not work with the very first batches of the WanHao branded printers.
It also may not work on the "Powerspec I3 Plus" models (Please see "Comments" section for tips on designing your own or modding this mod.)
If the spool holder cannot be mounted on top of the beam, using the factory drilled holes, this mod is not for you.
TTBOMK The beam change was made, in factory, on the 15 June 2015 so only very early Di3 models are affected.
If you do have a very early/beta model, you can still use the parts as tool holders by using the top two screw holes only. You just wont get any height advantage.
