3D model description

I am a little proud of this thing. It took quite a few iterations to find a design that holds the motorized Dyson brushes and is durable as well as easy to operate and print. I first tried a few versions with printed springs or moving parts. All of them were either not easy to print, did not last long or required additional hardware parts.

This hanger prints very well and is conceived in a way that the motorized brush will hold itself in place by its own gravitational downforce. If you grab it and drag it away from the wall a bit, it will come off easily.

The item is not well suited for storing the small Dyson motorized pillow brush because that brush is too small and lightweight.

It was made for a Dyson v6 but I suspect it should also be suitable for v7 and v8 models. If you own a v7 or v8 or any other Dyson hand-held vacuum please leave a comment that includes your model number if you think or even know that your accessories are compatible with this wall mount.

To mount this item to a wall you will need two MultiClips (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2747516) of your choice. At the link you will also find alignment and wall marking tools that help you to mount the clips (and the bracket) easily right where you want it to be.

There are two versions of the bracket available. One with a slot for a tool to open the toolheads for cleaning (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3069147) and one without.

If you like the MultiClip idea you might want to have a look at some more MultiClip-enabled designs (https://www.thingiverse.com/layershifter/collections/multiclip-designs), including even more Dyson tool holders as can be seen in the pictures. You are also very welcome to use the MultiClip Templates (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2747580) for your own objects.
