3D model description

Tried to articulate the hand on a 1/10 Diamond Select action figure and the hand broke off? Happened to me too! Par for the course, DST does not have replacement parts like this available.

Series 3 of the Stargate SG1 action figures is known for having a run of bad plastic. This is why most of those figures have deeply yellowed blister packaging despite not being exposed to UV rays. Unfortunately, this apparently extended into some of the "joint" pegs in their action figures.

Having done an exhaustive search for replacement options, I found none other than a temporary fix to bend a twist-tie and jam it in there. Not liking this option, I simply opened up the least feature-rich design tools, Microsoft 3D Builder, and mocked up a replacement peg based on the measurements I took from the remaining good peg of my "Black Ops Daniel Jackson" action figure.
