3D model description

Some say the sound of the new Pico 4 is great with good bass, some say it's rather poor like me. Different opinions it seems, but the biggest difference are likely due to different head- and earshapes. The sound-exit of the Pico 4 is too far away from my ears and can't deliver it's potential. This extensions enhance it quite significantly.

This is the non-free version with different sizes and I recommend to try the free version first to check if it works for you and your printer:
https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/pico-4-passive-sound-amplifier-enhancer-extension

This download includes the M-, and optimized L-size.

Update: I've made a version 2 for the L-size only. Contact me, if you need another size, otherwise L is recommended. It closes the gab between in- and output and is a bit easier to print with 0.3 mm gap instead of 0.2 mm, but it needs support at the bottom. It produces more bass and increases the volume considerably.

3D printing settings

The print-orientation is already set and PETG or similar (more than) recommended. PLA is possible, but breaks easily and will get loose soon. Print S and M without and L v2 with support. A brim is recommended. Better print both sides separately and one first to check if it works.Open the clip carefully with a nose plier like in the picture and attach it to the Pico 4 in the right orientation with the sound-exit inside-down. If the close-mechanism doesn't open first, use a sharp knife or razor blade to open the gab.
