3D model description

Industrial looking dumbell stand.
Holds two dumbells.

Max diameter of the handle: 29mm.
Max diameter of the weight disks: 250mm.

There is seperate inserts on the modell, at where you put down the dumbells on. They are made of 30D TPU, which is very durable, and flexible. This will help from scratching/breaking the main structure. Also gives a more soft "landing".

These inserts are "Click" in place, so easy to mount/replace if needed.

The screws holding all the spacers are just threaded into the plastic.
You can use a bit of force (and maybe a drill) to just thread them in, or use threading tool to makes threads.
(No need for extra metal heat inserts here, since these just hold the structure together. Will be no load on them)

BOM
(Bill of materials - You must buy this on your own-)

  • 16 pcs, Screw M5x25 mm
  • 6 pcs, Screw M5x16 mm
  • 6 pcs, Nut M5 __________________________

Assembly:

  1. Mount the two halfes of the struckture toghether with the M5x16 screws, for both sides.

  2. Insert the 4 pcs TPU inserts. A blunt flat screw driwer can help push the lips down under to where it locks in place.

  3. Start mounting the spacers, one at a time.
No need to fully tighten before all are in place. A drill is handy if just threading the spacers with the screws. Goes fast and easy. Just be sure to use some force so you dont just drill out a holde with the threads. Final tighting should be done by hand with hex key! (Dont over tighten!)
If the frame is a little skewed after assembly, thats normal. Just twist it straight by hand.

  4. Go do some workout, and have them tested!
