3D model description

This is my first 3D object I've created for my FLsun i3. It is a case to go around the ramps BT7272A board that came with it. I plan to do a revision that will have a fan but I need to get the fan first to figure out how to mount it. If I have done it correctly you can put M3 nuts on the back for the board mounting bolts. I need to make the top to bottom cover screw mounts better also. The two pieces coming off of the back are so that I can mount it to the 2020 frame of the flsun i3, These may not be strong enough though.

If you make one let me know and if you have any tips to improve it it would be much appreciated.

Revision V1.1: Mainly I have changed some of the hole sizes to better fit bolts and I have added some fillets here and there to hopefully add strength. For the 4 screws to hold the lid on you will need four M3x30mm bolts, to hold the ramps board in you will need four M3 nuts and four M3x8mm bolts. To attach the box to 2020 frame you will need two M4 square nuts and two M4x10mm bolts.

I would definitely recommend printing this revision and not the old one. The hole placement to hold the lid on may not be aligned properly.

Revision V1.2: I have changed the way that the case attaches to the 2020 frame. It now means it can be printed directly to the bed without support under it. I was getting a lot warping when I tried to print. It will now need three M4x10mm bolts and three M4 square nuts to attach it.

Revision V1.3: Hopefully the lower holes for the board should be lined up now.

Revision V1.4: Cleaned up the upper case. Still no fan mounts though.

Revision V1.5: New lower case after a new print found the lower holes still were not right. They should be ok now.

Revision V1.6: I have added a lid that is lower in case you want to run without a fan.
