Toilet Cleaner Tablet Holder

We all like to keep a clean and tidy toilet bowl but big-chemical and big-toilet are out to get you! They make these lovely little tablets that promise you sanitation and have images of happy sparkling toilet bowls but instead give you tank-flap destroying chemicals that are predominantly flushed down the drain rather than stay in the bowl. Say no to big-toilet, say no to unclean bowls!

Coronavirus boredom, meet needless optimization! American standard toilets fill the bowl after flushing via a small fill-hose spraying down the overflow tube. My idea: just circulate that fill water around a toilet tablet on its merry way down the overflow tube to the bowl (without blocking the overflow tube!) No chemicals sitting in your tank ruining your supple rubber flapper. No more flushing 90% of the chemicals straight down the drain and then diluting the bowl with fresh water.

In my case, we're working with a ~72mm OD tablet, 34mm OD overflow tube, and 8mm fill hose. Design has water coming in, circulating all around the tablet, and making its way through the strainer and down the overflow to the bowl. Print, remove lid, insert fill-hose, press down onto overflow tube, drop in a cleaning tablet, and enjoy...

After about 3hrs modeling (I'm a terrible noob with zero training) it was time to put the dumb-idea to plastic and I was rewarded with a first print perfect fitment on both overflow tube, fill tube, and functionally worked exactly as I wanted it to! Let me know what you all think - critique the design, poke holes in the idea, make fun of my face, whatever!

NozJoos informed me that there is a 77mm standard for pools that could be used if my model was up-sized and provided some guidance on how to accomplish it without breaking the model fully. I've uploaded one for 34.5mm overflow, 8mm fill tube, and an 80mm "cake-section" inner diameter and uploaded it along-side the others. Anyone with another set of dimensions please let me know and I'll update and upload those for everyone as well. Cheers!
