AK magazines adapter for Odin / Kingrin Airsoft BB Loader

##Annotation

This is an adapter for airsoft BB loader from Odin Innovations / Kingrin to accomodate airsoft AK magazines.

I've made it to be simple enough to print and use. The main issue was a latch spring. Luckily, it can be printed (tried PLA and PETG).

In addition to printed parts you will need an M3 screw with nut to act as a latch  pin and M3 screw for latch assembly attachment (you may glue it instead).

##Assembly

You must print 1 pcs of each stl, except for the Odin-Pin.stl, print at least 6 pcs. See pictures for recommeded layout.

Checking

Put a few BBs into one and then other end of the BB tunnel in Lower part. If they do slide easily, then you may go further.

If BBs are stop inside the tunnel, put thrm out and use a heat source (cigar lighter or mini gas forch will do) to heat indises of the tunnel. Be careful not to overheat it, or you will have to re-print Lower. After heating immediately put a dozen or so BBs inside and force them all the way through. I use conventional BB loader for that.

Latch assembly

Insert Spring into Latch (you will see a recess near the holes), short side to latch and use a flat screwdriver to fix it there. Insert Latch with spring into Insert, then insert an M3 screw into side hole, just for it's tip be seen inside.

Now you must slide the screw into Spring loop and then all the way through the opposite holes. Then screw a nut on a screw to fix it.

Sorry for unclear instructions, but it's hard to describe for me.

Gluing

Glue at least two (diagonal) or four pins into small holes in Upper, glue one pin into base of Latch assembly . Don't mind the length, just shorthen them after glue cures. These parts must be tightly connected with Lower.

If you have a rubber ring with 6mm inner diameter you can put it between Lower and Upper. It will not allow the BBs to fall out when detach magazine.

Glue Lower to Upper.

Screw or glue Latch assembly to Lower.

Using the adapter

1. start holding Odin/Kingrin loader with magazine well upwards
2. attach adapter to the loader (just as you attach M4 magazine).
3. attach AK magazine to adapter, check it locked.
4. turn loader magazine down if you lilke
5. roll the handle of adapter until you fill the magazine.
6. if you rotated loader on step 4, turn it magazine up. Otherwise you will spill some BBs
7. detach AK magazine.
8. repeat steps 3 through 7 to fill all the magazines
9. pour unloaded BBs from adapter mouth and detach adapter.

##Аннотация

Адаптер для страйкбольных лоадеров Odin Innovations / Kingrin для зарядки магазинов АК серии.

Делал для максимальной простоты печати и использования. Основной бедой была пружина. Хорошо, и её можно напечатать (пробовал PLA и PETG).

Также понадобится винт с гайкой М3 как ось защелки и опционально винт М3 для прикручивания блока защелки (можно и приклеить).

##Сборка

Печатаем всех деталей по 1 шт, кроме Odin-Pin.stl, которых надо напечатать как минимум 6. Пример расположения при печати приведен на фото.

Проверка

Прогоните несколько шариков через канал в детали Lower. Если прокатываются без задержек, то переходим к следующему шагу.

Если застревают - вытряхиваем шары, греем канал изнутри (пробовал турбо-зажигалку и мини-горелку), следя за тем, чтобы не перегреть (иначе придётся перепечатывать). Сразу после нагрева берём полтора десятка шаров и прогоняем по каналу. Использовал для этого обычный лоадер.

Сборка защелки

Вставляем пружину Spring в защелку Latch (там углубление в районе отверстий), короткой стороной пружины к защелке. Вставляем защелку с пружиной в корпус защелки Insert, и пропускаем через их отверстия винт M3 пока не покажется внутри сборки.

Сразу попасть в пружину наверняка не удастся. Надо пропустить винт через "виток" пружины и далее через вторую пару отверстий наружу. Остается зафиксировать винт гайкой.

Немного путано, но там проще показать, чем описать.

Склейка

Вклеиваем как минимум 2 (по диагонали) или все четыре мелких пенька в отверстия в части Upper, вклеиваем один пенек в защелку в сборе. На длину не обращаем внимание, но после высыхания клея укорачиваем. Пеньки должны плотно входить в отверстия в части Lower.

Если под рукой есть подходящее колечко с внутренним диаметром 6 мм, его можно поместить между Lower и Upper в устье канала. Колечко будет удерживать шары от высыпания.

Склеиваем Lower и Upper.

Прикручиваем или приклеиваем защелку в сборе к Lower.

Как пользоваться

1. Держим лоадер шахтой для магазина вверх.
2. Втыкаем адаптер (как магазин М4).
3. Прищелкиваем магазин АК.
4. Если хочется, можно перевернуть всю конструкцию.
5. Крутим ручку для зарядки магазина.
6. Если переворачивали на шаге 4, то возвращаем обратно, иначе высыпятся шары (даже с резинкой 1-2 шт выпадут).
7. Отсоединяем магазин АК.
8. Повторяем шаги 3-7 для всех магазинов.
9. Высыпаем шары и отсоединяем адаптер.
