3D model description

Here are my designs for a spinner or potentiometer based paddle controller.

The strain releifs i used were sourced as below from ebay.

Cell Phone Charger Strain Relief Cord Boot Wire Sleeve 8x5mm 20pcs

For the spinner i used was also from ebay and listed as a 600 p/r encoder like shown in the pictures.

The Potentiometer and 9pin cable was wired as a standard paddle controller and i used a 500k POT.

Printed in ABS and PETG but the tests in PLA were very strong....

Its best to test the wiring before screwing together.....

I used M3 Caphead bolts for the shell and also a single bolt and nut for the spinner knob to engage the d-shaft.

M3-20/25mm 4 off for shell
M3-12mm and nut for the spinner knob

The arcade buttons are the standard 30mm type as sown in the pictures and are available with joystick kits or single from ebay or pimoroni/ pihut.

2 buttons are used per controller.

The models supplied are for holding in the left hand with the right hand turning the knob, should you require the opposite hand simply mirror in your slicer.

For the spinner connections you will need to connect directly to MISTer's USER_IO port OR.....

User a 32u4 micro as I did in my build and detailed below.....
