3D model description

With the aged Tetrarch no longer holding up to needs, the Allied forced needed a modern vehicle that could be delivered via glider behind enemy lines to support the Airborne Rangers and British Paratroopers. The M22 Locust was that tank.

Though very lightly armed and armored for a tank, the Locust's strength is in it's ability to deploy alongside paratroops to any location, providing armored support to a traditionally infantry only role that can strike anywhere, anytime.

The standard M22 is armed with a 37mm M6 gun and two .30 cal Victory MGs, whereas the M22E2 replaces the cannon with a CB-H1 Napalm Thrower. Newly seen in the last weeks is the M22D-VF(P), which utilizes an 60Kw Boreal Phaser (PLR). This new weapon deals no more damage than the 60Kw Phaser Rifles carried by the "Red Devils" Heavy Paratroopers, but at much longer range and whilst flash freezing any armor struck, making it much more brittle and vulnerable to traditional weapons afterwards.

This is a kitbash of much more talented people's hard work, without which anything like this would be far beyond my abilities. My sincere appreciation to the original authors listed here:
