3D model description

Here's pouring some love and bringing these army droids which only had a short appearance back from the Generation One series!

Sentinel Guard here was modelled as a homage to how he (and his many many brothers) looked like on screen - simple but articulated enough for fun posing!

Also included is his little pew pew pistol which the bunch of Sentinel Guards funnily used to very ineffectively shoot at things in space.

A waist joint allows him to pivot at the midsection, so he can turn around and check if his battle buddies are still around. Flipping him around to his back, a pair of 5mm ports have been designed in place allowing the pistol or any other 5mm sized peg accessories to be safely stored there!

And zooming in to his noggin, his head dome is removable to show the mechanical robot head which sits inside! We've tried to print the head dome in a clear filament but that just makes it somewhat translucent as always. Perhaps folks with clear resin can give that a shot!

As a little easter egg of sorts, one side of the head was designed with a smiley face, or you can rotate it around to just have the blank face - whichever suits your fancy!

And since we are dealing with removable option heads, the neck port for the Sentinel Guard has also be sized to fit on any Titans Return head figures too! =D

When assembling it all, most parts simply peg in place so they can be removable easily if not superglued. Making it possible for this little bot to suffer from minor flesh wounds and scratches in your diorama displays.

The attached diagram shows how the parts for this bot go together.

Have only shown one side of the arms and legs to reduce the visual clutter. But it should be fairly easy to figure out how things go together :)

===

Well then, though we only had time to put together a single droid for this photoshoot, do have fun printing a whole bunch of them for your very own Shockwave's Cybertronian Defense Force too! Happy 3d printing! =)
