3D model description

The Mariners' House is a unique second empire style house, typically found in Boston and other eastern coastal cities in the 1800's.

This model is fully detailed inside and out. There are two playable levels, a roof and some removable, adjustable features including stairs, walls, and a fireplace / chimney. Each level interlocks with the one below it for convenience.

This model ran as a successful Kickstarter Jan 2023.

The design was prepared for 28mm scale tabletop gaming terrain but can be scaled to 25mm and 30mm easily. Larger scales are possible but have not been tested yet. The file can be used for other purposes as well. The model comes in several parts, and there are two playable levels. The second floor includes a split file to allow printing on small format printers, assembly is required.

Your purchase is for a 'personal use' license. The use of the STL file is strictly for printing physical product for personal use. The STL files may not be modified (remixed), sold, shared or distributed. If you are interested in a 'Commercial' (or Merchants) license so you can print and sell the physical parts in your shop, please contact me.

Your purchase includes 44 STL files (THIS IS NOT A PHYSICAL PRODUCT). A list has been included with all the files, print times and material requirements with the settings I used. I have printed all the parts shown on an unheated bed printer. I recommend the coffered base files (includes the letter 'C') for non-heated beds, as these files worked great for me to improve adhesion. All the parts print without supports (except the Skiff scatter piece), some work better with a brim to improve adhesion. You will find all the information you need in the detailed lists included.

See attached Word document.
PLA plastic - infill rates from 12 - 18% depending on the part - some parts use a 3mm brim to help with adhesion.
