Coffee Set - Full set, 7 Pieces, 2 Sizes

Need a last minute X-Mas present or just an ultra stylish coffee / tea set for your sideboard?

Here is an easy to print, decorative coffee (or tea) set comprising of
- Teacups with saucers
- Coffee cups with saucers
- Coffee / Tea pot
- Milk jug
- Sugar cup

I guess the design most closely resembles Space Age ("Googie") designs from the 1950s and 60s (which kind of makes it all time modern).

FILAMENT
For once I am not using Carbon Fiber PLA (although I was tempted to create a full black set) but rather use light, pale shades of pink, blue, yellow, and green PLA (which looks awesome with this design and perfectly fits these Space Age design). It took me some time (and a few failed attempts) to get the the colors I wanted. Interestingly I finally ended up using matte PLA (which looks real good on its own and absolutely perfect after a little sanding and coated with shiny, transparent varnish):

• This is what I use for Pale Blue
• For Pale Green
• For Pale Pink
• And for Light Brown

They are all easy to print and look good right out of the box but of course you can use pretty much any filament and color you like.

CAVEAT
Remember, 3D printed designs are not exactly suited to be used for food (for a number of reasons), even if you use non-toxic food-safe filaments! So this design is strictly intended for decorative purposes only.

PRINTING
Printing is super easy. Print at approx. 0.2 resolution (lower is better) and with approx. 30%+ infill. Everything is designed not to require supports, so no supports or build plate adhesion needed (other than what you always use). If you want it to look like real china, sand after printing and cover with shiny, transparent paint.
