Where I live you don't want to drink the tap water. while chemically safe the taste is horrible to quite an extreme. very very hard water and nasty tasting. find for cooking and cleaning but not for drinking or small machines (coffee, icemaker, cat fountain etc..)

SO our grocery stores have big kiosk dispensers out front and you can buy clean water 35c/gal

Then I found Water Distillers. around $100 and you can distill a gal of water in 3.5 hours for 24cents worth of electricity. the annoyance was pouring the water from the carafe the unit uses to the gallon jugs.

so I made custom little "funnels" to go onto the gallon jugs. a simple insert funnel works fine but it requires some dexterity to use. my sister lacks this dexterity. so I wanted something that would somewhat solidly AFFIX to the jug.

Here comes the issue. screw on milk caps are common. SNAP ON does not seem to exist. but WATER comes with the snap on caps not the screw on caps. you don't really want to use actual milk gallon jugs since you can never TRULY remove all the milk so the distilled water WILL leach some of the milk absorbed into the plastic. yuck.

so I had to model my own. there are 2 caps. screw and snap. now if your dexterity is fine the screw cap DOES actually fit on the snap jugs just fine. it just does not "lock" on. so if you have both types you can just print the one.

there is an air pass through tube so no glugging. you can fill them pretty much as fast as you can pour.

These are optimized for simplicity and efficiency. most of it actually prints in vase mode. the included gcode is ready to go for anything ender3/i3/prusa sized. copy and print. factory file also included.
