3D model description

The Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda

I designed the master sword in real size to be able to print in parts, trying to make an easy impression

The scale is for a real person, real size or for a cosplayer, you must have 3D prop creation skills to assemble it with glue/epoxy glue

The long and short pins are to join the master sword, you will need glue/epoxy something strong to join it completely.

3D printing settings

Material:
I made this print in PLA, I recommend using PLA!

Paint:
No Need

Time:
This print is composed by several parts, and it will vary depending on your quality settings

Infill: 10%~20% (I recommend 20% Infill)

Layer Height: 0.2~0.3 (I recommend only these Layer Height)

Nozzle: 0.4mm for the small parts the emblems and 0.8mm for the blades or bigger parts and rest of the sword for fast and long printing

Build Plate Adhesion:
Yes use Brim! (The better the brim, the better chances of closing the pieces and avoiding corner lifting, if not use c-clamps to join the pieces by gluing them)

Supports:
Yes, just in some pieces, no need supports on the blade parts

Glue: Yes, Epoxy glue or something very strong if you want to shake or wave, the blade weapon or brandishing the master sword.

Note: The pins do a good job of holding/joining the sword in place, but you'll need strong glue because they don't snap into place by pressure or friction =This is for leave space between one piece and the other for the glue, due the size and weight of the sword.

Dimensions:
Several, The Master Swords is real size, for a cosplayer.

Extra 2:
Share it.

Extra 3:
I really want to see your creations, tag me!

There is a possibility that I will do an update for this for an easier impression of the center of the sword and for all in general, but for now it is functional.
