RC Car Wheels - Tires Type 5

This is a 1/10 scale radio controlled car tire print project that basically consists of a tire model in three size options. It is necessary to select a rim model to finalize the wheel assembly.

As with all Luccarelli designs, we ran a number of tests to ensure they were strong and easy to print with minimal support usage.

Wheel assembly:
The wheels have been modeled with a tight clearance to prevent the tire from coming off the rim during rigorous use. Therefore, to facilitate assembly, we recommend that the tire is slightly heated in an oven. A test was carried out using the oven at 180ºC (356ºF) with an exposure of 5 minutes to the TPU.

What you'll need:
An FDM 3D printer with at least a 200mm x 200mm x 200mm build volume.
A 0.4mm nozzle (recommended).
A heated build plate (recommended).
About 150g of TPU.

This product is a digital download which includes:
All .stl files needed for the build with the recommended print orientation.

Nozzle temperature should be 230-240 degrees with cooling fan
Bed temperature should be 50 to 60 degrees
The retraction should be just enough to avoid chaining between resources
