Part 2 of my Universal Smartwatch Docks

This is in essence a remix of my earlier post: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5636189

If you can't find a dock/adapter that fits your smart watch either here or my previous post, send me the dimensions and I will try to make one for you. Anything that works with the adapter will go to the above post, anything that requires a new dock goes here.

The story continues. However, this time without adapter, for e.g. Garmin, Huawei, Cycplus, Amazfit watches and once again any other brand, as long as you send detailed specifications, so I can create the corresponding stands. Basically this is a collection of different docks, rather than a single dock with multiple adapters, mainly for the slightly more exotic brands (...well kind of).

I found my first post was getting a little messy when, in addition to the adapters I started adding new docks (BTW thx to everyone who sent in suggestions for new adapters). This design is not meant to replace the first post, rather to complement it. In essence this is a remix (don't know why I can't chose 'remix' when creating a new thing) of my earlier smart watch dock with adapter, however with a few differences:

  • These are intended to be used without adapters. Some smartwatch chargers just wouldn't fit the adapter design (e.g. Garmin)
  • There is now an XL version, which allows for charging pucks up to 46 mm (previously with adapter up to 36 mm), e.g. Huawei GT2
  • What has not changed: if you send me the exact specifications (preferably with an image) I will be happy to make more docks and/or adapters

FILAMENT
- I print the docks using this incredibly easy to print Carbon Fiber PLA , which gives this beautiful soft touch and semi-gloss shine,
- and the adapters (if needed) in Silk Silver, Bronze, or Copper.

PRINTING
Printing is super easy. Print at 0.2+ resolution and with approx. 30%+ infill. No supports or build plate adhesion needed (other than what you always use).
