I made a few more thoughts and completely redesigned the Air Assist. I wasn't happy with the rickety solution I used before.

The new design is a lot better. The complete
The nozzle is now slipped over the laser from below and fixed with a screw. The laser beam now passes through the center of the tip and the air can do its work.

With the new Air Assist Nozzle, the laser can no longer be focused via the lens. This is now done by adjusting the height of the Z-axis. You only need to focus the laser once and then mount the nozzle.

After printing, you may need to sand the parts a bit. The nozzle must lie flat on the aluminum above the golden ring near the lens.

For the air supply I use a Bowden hose (4mm) with a small airbrush compressor.

You will need some M3 screws and nuts to assemble it.
Some M3 thread inserts are also required (e.g. from Ruthex)

I printed from normal PLA with a 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer height. Support is definitely required for the nozzle.

Normal support with 50 overhang angle.
45 Gyroid Infill.

Entwickelt für das Neje 3.5W / 7W / 20W Modul (30x30mm)

Ich habe mir nochmal ein paar Gedanken gemacht und das Air Assist komplett neu erstellt. Ich war mit der klapprigen Lösung, die ich vorher verwendet habe nicht zufrieden.

Das Neue Design ist um einiges besser. Die komplette
Nozzle wird nun von unten über den Laser gestülpt und mit einer Schraube fixiert. Die Laserstrahl führt nun durch die Mitte der Spitze und die Luft kann ihre arbeit verrichten.

Mit der neuen Air Assist Nozzle kann der Laser nicht mehr über die Linse fokussiert werden. Dies wird nun über die Höhenverstellung der Z-Achse erledigt. Ihr braucht den Laser also nur einmalig fokussieren und anschließend die Nozzle montieren.

Nach dem Druck kann es erforderlich sein, dass Ihr die Teile etwas schleifen müsst. Die Nozzle muss über dem Goldenen Ring bei der Linse flach auf dem Aluminium aufliegen.

Für die Luftzufuhr nutze ich im Übrigen einen Bowden Schlauch (4mm) mit einem kleinen Airbrush Kompressor.

Zur Montage wirst du einige M3 Schrauben und Muttern benötigen.
Ebenfalls erforderlich sind einige M3 Gewindeeinsätze (z.B. von Ruthex)

Gedruckt habe ich aus ganz normalem PLA mit 0.4 Nozzle und 0.2 Layerhöhe. Support wird für die Nozzle auf jeden Fall benötigt.
