Sometimes the winter refuses to give way to spring. In the deepest forest shadows, on the highest barren mountain peak, or at some place where children died horrible deaths snows of the winter come to horrific unlife. Especially if previously sculpted by children's hands. Sometimes they become dreadful avengers of the slain, but sometimes they perpetuate the evil that begot them.
