About

I've designed a couple of mount accessories for the AcroBrat 3" frame to protect the CRSF T-Antenna and the dual-camera I am using. It will also work with single cameras and FrSky R9 antennas.

I also post pics and videos of my designs on my Instagram

Protection

The front camera mount offers multiple types of protection for your Acrobrat:
* First, it protects the split camera (Caddx/Runcam Hybrid, etc.), which is not very well protected by the frame itself
* Second, it protects the frame itself by overlapping the sidewalls of AcroBrat's frame and also adding chin protection to the bottom plate

The tail mount supports guides the VTX antenna and holds the radio T-Antenna away from props.

Printing

Print it with TPU, revise your support material settings in your slice, use a 0.4 mm nozzle, 30-40% infill or more, low-speed to ensure good lamination.

Attention!
You cannot print these parts with rigid filaments (PET, PLA, etc.) as they are designed to bend and to be cut for inserting wires or tie-wraps. Use a paper-knife to reach the openings and carefully watch your hands while making the cuts.

Installation

First, print it with care. Especially the front mount which needs support material. Once you get it right, it will be well worth it. After you printed them, make sure the surfaces are well laminated and don't break apart easily, before installing them onto the frame. Try to stretch them to check how they perform.

The tail mount has room for adding tie-wraps to add posture strength to your T-Antenna (see pics). Tie them to the mount and use a heat-shrink tube to pair them with the Antenna. This way you will avoid trashing your radio antenna by blending in the props.

Post a make

If you liked it and made your AcroBrat look cook, post a make. It will motivate me to continue developing accessories for this frame.

Enjoy
