3D model description

That's right, it's me, I'm back. And I've done it again.

Goddamn the Desire Driver is an impressive belt. And of course, myself as well as many others, wanna get the most out of it.

Namely the sounds.

So I went ahead and made a simple hacker for it around the time mine came in. But this time I couldn't just settle for the basic little tool, I needed to step it up. Make it a proper trinket. One that could be ANY of the other trinkets (technically).

The result: the Lootbox Raise Buckle!

I designed this to mimic the internals of the Armed Shield buckle, with the rotating button being how I assume the legend rider buckles function (don't have one at the time of posting). There are two button types included, designed after the different Geats Lootbox logos. A blank third is included for those that would like to add a custom design.

To put it together, you just need 9 of those screws that pretty much all Toei products are held together with, and a spring recycled from any old mechanical pencil.

I can't find any reasonably priced source for the Toei screws online, so you're gonna have to borrow some from one of your other toku toys (we all have at least one duplicate that can be sacrificed). Or y'know, you could just use the hacker piece on it's own.

Anyways, like my other hacker tools (or rather, tool), this is free to download. I was thinking about monetizing it, but then I saw a similar concept available for pre-order on one of my usual toku shop sites. Naturally, my very first instinct is to f*ck up that market entirely.

The demonstration video is done and linked! https://youtu.be/OggJIzX0IW8 I tried to make it a Short, but apparently Youtube has weird limitations on that. Eh~

Enjoy!

Update; I found an old code list from Twitter around when the driver first showed up, its a bit mislabeled but have fun with it! (and show me if anything new is used for the Vision Driver)

3D printing settings

Any layer height should be fine, I used 0.16mm.
The top and bottom halves should be oriented with the internals facing the buildplate. I found the least amount of struggle using Cura's Cross infilled supports for these.
The internals should be printed on their flat sides, with the internal arm having it's nub pointing horizontally, for structural reasons.
The button faces are best printed face-down. When using supports, there will be some left over in the inner face, be sure to pull those out carefully without breaking the flexible parts of the button.
Tree Supports are usually very helpful with the actual hacker piece, just keep in mind the raise pins will fit pretty snug, so file down the holes as you see fit.
Be sure to print as many raise pins as you need, printing about 9 should be a good place to start.
