3D model description

An active system for venting the vive pro headset; forces cool, dry, outside air into the headset to push out hot, humid air.
Simple dial on the top controls speed/on/off.

Material list
13x #6-32 x 1/2in Machine screws and hex nut (places like lowes sell them in large packs)

2x BFB0505LA-C https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=BFB0505LA

1x Onyehn DC 4-12V 5W USB Fan Stepless Governor USB Fan Speed Controller https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q1HDG3T/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_w9YxDbGDDFXDX

1x USB-C (male) to USB (female) (this is where I got mine, but it doesn't really matter where you get them) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V69DBYT/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_A.YxDb87T0SV2

Fan Controller press fits in.
Fans also have a tight fit and are zip-tied on (3 zip ties each)
Note, you will have to put together a wiring harness. )I salvaged a shot usb cable)

Assemble the L-Brackets and Fan Vents together so you have two assemblies. slide them on sideways relative to the HMD, Then assemble the clips, connector rod and Fan Control Housing together (see reference pictures). make sure the small pins on the clips drop into the holes on the HMD

Notes:

1: the fan controller can supply up to 8V! The fans are rated for 5.5V ( this is just under 180deg of rotation of the dial) and can fry them (I will be designing a rate limiting dial in the near future (will require a new Fan Control Housing Cover)

2: The vents are designed for when the HMD Lenses are set as far in as p[possible, if you set the further out, they will not completely cover the lower vents and this may decrease efficiency, I would recommend covering the exposed areas of the vent with tape.

3: Supports are needed. the vents are oriented for optimal bridging to the best of my ability

4: If you are unsure of print orientation, check build plate image or stl

5: Clips are from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3371897
