Contour gauge to print yourself!

Improved version.

Unlike simple contour gauges, this one can be locked in place by a knob.

Since the profile elements wear out over time due to friction and the worn contour can no longer be locked, an adjustment device has been installed here so that the wear can be compensated again and the contour gauge still functions as on the first day even after a long time.

Approx.98 profile elements are required. Depending on the printing accuracy.

The length of the detection area is approx. 18cm

Support required on both housing parts

Calibrated 3D printer required.

For mounting, 4 M2.5 / M3 countersunk screws are required.

and 4x M3 screws are required.

For the assembly of the locking and adjusting device, 2 additional M4 screws with flat head are required

Length must be adjusted.

The screws cut threads themselves.

Holes turn out smaller - as usual with 3D printing - Please rework holes with drill after printing.

To assemble the locking device and adjustment device, the locking/threaded screw adjustment must be screwed into the threaded insert locking/adjustment. Then screw in the pressure pieces Adjustment/Locking with the M3 screw. Caution! Do not tighten completely. The pressure pieces must still be able to rotate freely.
